We had fun going to New York City. Then a couple days later, the base had a Family Fun Fest. Here are the kids running at the playground.

Here is New York City at night in a moving bus.

Here is a picture of New York City at night.

The guy in the red shirt sitting courtside is Patrick Ewing. We didn't get to meet him, but it was still neat to see him.

During time outs, they had various people come out to entertain the crowd. This is the Knicks dancers. I knew Jay would like to see pictures of them!

Here are the Pistons and Knicks right as the game is starting.

Anthony Federov from American Idol season 2(?) sang the National Anthem before the game started.

Here we are in our seats right before the game is about to start.

At The Garden, they put on a magic show for the kids before the basketball game with a magician called Uncle Magic. He called Matthew Modine up on stage to help out with one of the tricks. Matthew Modine is in one of Jay's all time favorite movies, "Full Metal Jacket".

My highlight was meeting Matthew Modine, the actor. Here he is posing a lady and some basketball players. The tall black woman beside him is Kym Hampton from the NY Liberty.

There were a couple of Radio City Music Hall Rockettes at MSG.

Here is the scoreboard with the Statue of Liberty. What she's doing is banging her torch on the top of MSG like it's a drum.

Here's the scoreboard at MSG. If you can't make it out, it says Knicks over and over.

Before the basketball game, we got to meet various athletes associated with Madison Square Garden. This, I believe, is John Duddy from Ireland. He's a middle weight boxing champion and very good looking.
We are at Madison Square Garden!!!

I thought this mailbox was so cute. It's made to look like R2D2 from the Star Wars movies.

Here we are in New York City!

After Easter, we had a very exciting field trip. We got to go to Madison Square Garden to see a basketball game between the New York Knicks and the Detroit Pistons. Here are the kids on the bus getting ready to ride to New York City. It only took about an hour and a half to drive there. Not bad at all!

And here I am with the kids at Easter.

Here are the kiddos at Easter being nice to each other.

The kids have found all the eggs so they'r running back into the house. It was so cold out!

Here is Madison, Ryan and Philip getting ready to find some Easter eggs!

Here is Miranda with her baby Michael. He's already 1 and walking all over the place!

Over the Easter weekend, we drove down to Maryland and visited our friends, the Poffs. They took us to downtown Baltimore. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe there.

Ryan got a remote control T-Rex from Jay. He loves his t-rex!

Here is Ryan blowing out his candle! He was even fine when we sang to him.

Here are the cupcakes that make up Ryan's 5th birthday cake. I decided to keep it simple this year with the cupcakes instead of doing a big cake. We'll do a big birthday next year.

This was taken at Ryan's 5th birthday party. It was windy out, but I had just bought Ryan a bubble making machine so I had the kids go out and chase bubbles. That machine made tons of bubbles. I can't wait till we have a nice day out and I can turn it on.

And here is Madison through the kalidescope. She's wearing a pink shirt if you can make it out.

When we were in Philly, I got the kids kalidescopes and this is a picture I took of Ryan through the kalidescope.

Here is part of our kitchen here in New Jersey. We've always had galley kitchens so I'm kind of lost in this type of kitchen. It's U shaped.

And here is me with the kids. We're keeping busy since Jay is gone.

Here is Jay and the kiddos. We miss Jay so much!

Here is a familiy photo I took before Jay had to leave the country.

While in Philadelphia, we went to the National Liberty Museum, I think that's what it was called. They had a disturbing display of life sized statues of kids made out of jellybeans, but their heads were on backwards. It was freaking me out!

Here is the Liberty Bell all by itself. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if we had to take off our shoes at security or now. I've slept since then!

Here are me and the kids in front of the Liberty Bell. It wasn't as big as I thought it would be. We had to go through just about security to see the bell as we do to go on a plane ride. X raying everything and having to take off our shoes even!

We went to Philadephia a few weeks ago and I took this picture of Independence Hall.

Here is Ryan's room now. His room is a lot smaller than what he had in England. The one thing that worries us is his closet has stairs that lead up to the attic. So far he's stayed out of the attic, thank goodness!

This part of the house is supposed to be the dining room, but I didn't want to have us eating on a carpeted floor so we made this into our library/workout/computer room. I didn't take a picture of the computer desk. It's a mess!

Here is the view from the living room of the front door and the stairs. We miss living in a single story house!

Here is what Madison's room looks like now. It's not as big as her room in England, but we're making it work. In England, Madison had the biggest room so we had to get rid of a lot of stuff to make room here.

I almost missed this picture! This was taken at the aquarium. They had a huge tank full of all these jellyfish. I could watch them all day long.

I don't know if you can see them, but I just recently got 2 stained glass floor lamps. I am so in love with my lamps!

I'm sure some of you are curious about what our house looks like. Here is one view of our living room.

Here's what it looked like out our front door after our first real snow fall. It was so pretty before every one started walking on it!

Here is the biggest turtle at the aquarium. It's a loggerhead turtle named Bob even though it's a girl. They named her before they knew her sex.

Here are the two hippos they have at Adventure Aquarium. One is named Buttons and I can't remember the other's name. They're both female. The aquarium people said the females are easier to work with plus they're smaller.

Here is the picture we had taken just as we came into the Adventure Aquarium. We had a fun day that day. Ryan looks sneaky as usual.

Before Jay left, we went to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. I took this picture right outside the aquarium. This is the Delaware River all frozen over.
