For my birthday this year, we went to London to see the "Trooping of the Colour". It's the day they celebrate the Queen's birthday. There was a big parade and a RAF flyby. I was really impressed with these guys. They're riding on horseback and playing instruments!

Here is the famous zebra crossing on Abbey Road that the Beatles walked across for their Abbey Road album cover. It really is the same crossing. I just took the picture from the wrong direction! I didn't realize it until I got home and looked at my Beatles cd.  

Here is Madison and Ryan in front of London's City Hall. I thought this was a pretty gay looking building and didn't even know what it was until after I had taken the picture! 

We've been going to London more lately trying to see all the sights we can before we go in a few months. Here is the Tower of London. They used to imprison and kill people here.

Madison had her ballet recital a couple of weeks ago and here's some pictures I took there. She did really good! 

Here's another picture I took at the science museum. It's a space capsule that has actually been used in space. It was pretty cool! 

We went to the National Science Museum in London a few weeks ago. This is a picture of a car I thought was really neat there. You enter the car through the front. I think it might only have 1 wheel in the back also.

Here's Ryan playing at one of our nearby playgrounds. He hardly ever goes down the slide the usual way!  

Here's a picture of some pencil cookies I made for Madison's class on the last day of school. They're sugar cookies with yellow icing and strawberry starbursts on the top for erasers. Mini choc chips are the pencil points and fruit roll ups are the green at the top.  

School is out now, but I took this picture a little while ago. Madison is hard at work doing her homework. She'll be going into 3rd grade next year.
