So here is Sarah and me in front of Cologne's cathedral bright and early waiting for the Christmas markets to open up. It was so cold in Cologne, Sarah and I wound up having to buy extra socks for our frozen feet!  

This was taken on a ferry boat just like the one in this picture. These ferries are huge. I think I heard some one say there was over 90 tour buses on our boat to Calais. That's in addition to cars and lorries. There'd be so many people on the ferries, a lot of people didn't have a place to sit for the hour and 45 minute crossing.  

This December 9-11th, I went with my friend, Sarah, to the Christmas markets in Cologne, Germany. Here are the white cliffs of Dover. We were about to get on a ferry boat to cross the English Channel to Calais, France.

On top of the cliffs is Dover Castle. I believe they filmed Mel Gibson's Hamlet there.

Here is the other cake I made for Madison's birthday. I made a bunch of cupcakes for Madison's class, then I put the rest together into an 8 for the neighborhood kids to come and have cake at our house.  

Here is my attempt at a princess castle cake for Madison's birtday. It's 3 layers and I didn't make the layers level before putting them together. Big mistake! It was still edible, but was falling apart as soon as I put it together. You live and you learn!  

And here is a recent picture of Madison. She's turning into such a beautiful young lady. She's making a Christmas card for her teacher in this picture.

Here is a dragon at the premiere. It was really cool looking and huge! 

I don't know if you can tell who this is, but it's Warwick Davis who plays Professor Flitwick. He also played the Ewok, Wicket, in the Star Wars movies. Right behind him is his wife. She's a little person too.
