lunar eclipse and science museum

Here's my photo of the lunar eclipse. It's only about halfway done, but I knew if I didn't get a picture then, I'd forget and miss the whole thing.
We went to Philly the other day to the Academy of Natural Sciences. It's a really neat place. They have a butterfly room you can go in and there's all these big beautiful butterflies flying around. There was a room with a huge stuffed polar bear. I was trying to get the kids to act like they were scared in front of it. Ryan just looks bored.
Last picture is of the kids at a birthday party. The place the party was held had a huge room that was like one big ball pit. Balls were all over the floor, flying across the room and falling from the ceiling! The kids had a lot of fun in there.

Madison Christmas concert

Before I forget! Here is a video from Madison's Christmas concert this year. She is in the choir.

more sledding fun

Here are some videos of the kids going down a hill by themselves. The way Ryan runs up the hill cracks me up. He's too funny. Madison is the only one who went sledding down the hill this way. It looked kind of painful to me!

sledding around base

These are some videos of us sledding around the base where we could find a nice hill to go down. Here is a video of Madison and Ryan sledding down a hill for the first time. Jay even went down the hill. His giggle when he reaches the bottom cracks me up every time!

Sledding at home- Madison's turn

Here's a video of Madison getting pulled around by Jay.

sledding!

In the part of Arkansas we're from, we don't get much snow. Mainly just ice storms. So we were tickled to be able to play in the snow. Here we are playing in our front yard. Jay made a little ramp for the kids. Jay was wore out after playing with the kids!

Snow!

I woke up Friday to all this snow. The kids didn't have school that day and Jay was off work so we had a family play day.

Adventure Aquarium

We went to Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ the other day. It was neat. They had an area where you could touch all these different animals. Madison touched a stingray, shark, jellyfish, shrimp, and a lobster. I think that's all. I touched the jellyfish. It was gross! The aquarium has a big tunnel that goes through their shark tank where you can walk and you're surrounded by sharks. It's cool.

Christmas tree 2007

Here's what our Christmas tree looked like this year.

Christmas

It's been awhile since I've updated so I wanted to start out with Christmas pictures. We went to Medford, NJ where they were having a Dickens Christmas Festival. It was so cold that night. Santa arrived in a horse drawn carriage. They were giving out free carriage rides. We stayed long enough for that, then we went home. It was bone chilling cold that night!

It's fall here

Here's a couple pictures I took recently. The leaves are all changing colors and are so pretty. I went to a cranberry bog with Madison's class. I'd never seen a cranberry bog before. It was real educational. We got to pick some cranberries. Madison said they're very sour!

Halloween

Here's our Halloween pictures. I made a SpongeBob pumpkin and Jay decided on making a scary face on his pumpkin. Madison and Ryan were Supergirl and Superman.

Here's some pictures of Six Flags when they were having their FrightFest. They put on ghoul shows and their huge fountain right as you come in was made into a blood fountain. It was really cool! I never saw Six Flags as busy as it was during the Fright Fest.

Here's some more pictures of us at Six Flags.

We went to Six Flags again before it closed and saw the dolphin show there. It was really neat.

We went to the beach in September so we thought the water would be too cold to go in, but it was actually warm! We couldn't keep the kids out of it.
We went to Ocean City, NJ to the beach. Ryan was helping Jay build a sandcastle and he dug up a crab!

Here's a picture of the kids being cute. I thought this picture of the moon was cool. The moon looks so big here.
